This September, Eat North is bringing its popular pop-up drag brunch event to Vancouver organized in support of Qmunity Resource Centre. The brunch will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 in partnership with Savoury Chef Foods at the stunning waterfront event space, Waterview, on the cusp of the city's downtown core.

The event will kick off at 11:30 a.m. with a morning cocktail and brunch canape hour, followed by a three-course brunch, created by Savoury Chef Foods executive chef, Geoff Rogers. To compliment the food, mixologists will create an imaginative brunch cocktail list inspired by each drag performer.

Headlining the drag performances for the afternoon will be New York's Yuhua Hamasaki. The performer rose to international fame after appearing on season ten of the Emmy Award winning reality competition series, RuPaul's Drag Race earlier this year.

Local talent set to perform alongside Yuhua Hamasaki will include popular Vancouver drag queen Kendall Gender and other special guests.

Needless to say, Drags Benny YVR is shaping up to be the most memorable culinary event of the summer.

In addition to partial proceeds from ticket sales, the brunch will also feature a silent auction of one-of-a-kind packages, including an exclusive at-home dinner for four created by executive chef Rogers. All the proceeds from this auction will go towards Qmunity.

Tickets are available for $120 (includes two complimentary drinks, welcome hour canapes, a three course brunch and performances)

All drag performers will be available for photo opps following final performances.
