Volunteer for Pride

Event Volunteers

The Vancouver Pride Society (VPS) has developed a new volunteer management strategy called Pride Pods, as part of the Strategic Plan approved in May of 2011, to facilitate a stronger connection between our volunteers and the VPS. The goal is to create a succession management plan that not only attracts and retain skilled volunteers, but that also works to build engagement and mentorship practices within the VPS. We are currently looking for 6 volunteer Pod Captains to help lead this exciting new strategy.

Board of Directors

The Vancouver Pride Board of Directors is the legal body which oversees the affairs of the Society. Its work lasts year-round and includes four executive positions (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) and eight directors at large for board composition of 12 persons.
